Skype now on Symbian Belle phones

Skype has released a new version of its mobile app for the Symbian Belle operating system. Previously, Nokia handsets running Symbian Belle had no way of running the VoIP app.
The release of this new version is quite timely because a number of smartphones are expected to be updated to Symbian Belle on 8 February, including the Nokia N8, Nokia E7 and the Nokia C6-01.
This new release of Skype supports voice calling, instant messaging and updates the user interface to match Symbian Belle. Overall performance has also been improved, with the only downside being that video calling isn't supported.
Currently the new version of Skype is only available in the US but should be hitting the UK market in the next couple of weeks.
